You’ve heard the saying. When one door closes, another one opens. But it doesn’t have to be another door. It can be a window. Windows are usually smaller and may be hard to see at first. But take off your blinders, expand your periphery, and look for any open windows. You won’t regret it.
Just because you can’t just waltz into an open door doesn’t mean you can’t climb into an open window. Your opportunity doesn’t have to be big and wide, easily spotted and accessible. Sometimes you just need to look for the small openings of opportunity. We forget that the little steps often lead to bigger things. And we forget how to enjoy the journey, small step by small step.
There’s no need to “do it all” at once. I used to feel badly whenever I wasn’t able to reach someone who needed help because they weren’t open to it but realized that it just wasn’t their time, yet. I have also exponentially experienced many synchronicities in my life in the past year, and have been surprised and delighted many times by a change in their reaction or response. Of those who didn’t seem open-minded, many of them suddenly had a change of heart and mind, and not only became more open to the practice, but have gained more wisdom on how to enjoy life and and better health as a result.
When I first learned how to heal myself, I got so excited I wanted to help everyone I knew who was suffering from ailments. It became the start of my mission. I quickly realized that not everyone is open to it, and that it was okay to be patient and just work with those who were. And little by little, I felt joy each time I was able to help, one person at a time. One window at a time.
